In the first fortnight of May, Europe once again demonstrated its firm commitment to the promotion of hydrogen, investing over €1 billion. euros in new actions and projects. An important milestone was the completion of the EU Hydrogen Mechanism, with 87% of suppliers responding positively to purchase requests. At the same time, the sector is constantly innovating: the first hydrogen aircraft is expected to enter service by 2030, Hyundai has unveiled the new Xcient fuel cell truck for 2027, and consultations have begun on the 400-kilometer underwater hydrogen pipeline that will connect France and Spain.
