Within July concluded the renewal of the collaboration between Hellenic Hydrogen S.A. and the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program (IPP) “Science and Hydrogen Technologies” of the University of Western Macedonia (UWM). The new contract was signed on behalf of Hellenic Hydrogen by its CEO Mr. Dimitris Triantafyllopoulos and on behalf of UWM by the Director of the IPP Dr. Savvas Douvartzidis and the Vice Rector of Financial Affairs Dr. Stergios Maropoulos.
The IPP “Science and Hydrogen Technologies” has been operating since 2022 as the country’s only Postgraduate Program fully specialized in the value chain of green hydrogen and the green fuels produced from it, such as methanol, ammonia, etc. The purpose of the IPP is to educate specialized scientists and business executives who will support the development of the hydrogen economy in Greece and the European Union, to produce and disseminate the necessary scientific knowledge, and to conduct research for the development of technologies for the production and safe use of hydrogen in industry, buildings, and means of transport.
The collaboration between Hellenic Hydrogen and the IPP “Science and Hydrogen Technologies” of UWM began in 2023 and emphasizes the conduct of studies of common interest and the upskilling and reskilling of engineers, technicians, and professionals in new clean hydrogen technologies, both through the IPP itself and through the joint organization of awareness and training activities (workshops, conferences, Summer Schools, etc.).
