The summer highlighted the dynamic acceleration of the European hydrogen economy, with significant funding, new certifications, industrial collaborations and pilot applications in transport, aviation and heavy vehicles. From the first major low-emission hydrogen production projects in France and green hydrogen auctions in Italy, to the first certified RFNBO plant in Norway and new support schemes in Germany, developments show that hydrogen is gradually moving from design to practice.
At the same time, the initiatives of Bosch, Airbus, MTU Aero and Hyundai confirm the role of technological innovation in the development of new zero-carbon applications.
